Permits The buyer must assume the responsibility of acquiring any needed permits before the purchase of any animals from Kangaroo Cottage. Be sure to check with animal control in your area or city to be sure what the laws are for you. In some areas all exotics are illegal and in other areas a permit such as a wild animal permit may be required. DO NOT purchase any animal which is not legal in your area! If it is discovered you possess it, in many cases it may be confiscated or you will be required to re-home it within a designated amount of time.
Do not take the risk, it isn't worth it and can be very traumatizing for the animal.
I also do a check to be sure they are legal in your area before finalizing an adoption of one of my babies.
